Glacée
Inspired by an art piece that I’d seen on Instagram I tried out something a little different with my film photos.
I ripped up some of my failed film photograph prints that I had and placed them in a bag with water, then added them to the freezer. They stayed in there for roughly a day and then came out transformed into new shapes.
I was interested in how the prints could be contained in this new state, reconstructed and then essentially deconstructed once the ice had melted!
Maybe I’ll try this again in the future but add different solvents to see if it creates a different outcome.
